Born on Giju, Jumon enjoyed his life with a father and mother, twin baby brothers, and the community in which they thrived as a merchant household; then the attack came. Only its suddenness rivaled its destruction, wiping out the entire town in a matter of seconds, leaving only a single survivor: Jumon. For the next few days, he wandered the smoking wreckage in a daze, calling for someone, anyone, until running into a mysterious cloaked figure.
He didn’t know it at the time, but it was Jedi Master Let who found him. He explained how it was the power of the Force that saved him by warning him of the horror soon to occur mere moments beforehand. Questions ran from Jumon’s mouth, ranging from how it happened to why he was the only one who lived – but none of it mattered, as Master Let explained, how the past is important to learn from, but not to dwell in.
Enrolled in the Jedi Academy, Jumon honed his ability to sense danger, letting the whispers of the Force guide his naturally sluggish reflexes. Being the only large padawan in his class, a lightsaber was fished from storage to match his size, and trained extensively in its use.
Though Jumon was satisfied with his practice, his mind was still plagued with the mystery of his destroyed home. Through the years, he spent hours on end traversing the cities he visited and gathering any information he could about the attack on Giju, but to no avail.
Now, he works to become the greatest lightsaber fighter in the Academy, to protect the weak, and to find the instigators of his destroyed home.
